Leonardo da Vinci: "O you who sleep, what is sleep? Sleep resembles death. Oh, why not let your work be such that after death you acquire immortality, rather than during life you make yourself like unto the hapless dead by sleeping."

that is great. i read that to my dad because his life motto is "sleep is for the weak" meaning he hardly sleeps so he can get stuff done...so i told him this could be his new motto.
very admirable. i like sleep way too much to give it up for productivity. it's a problem.
